Brief History: Mia's the scheming little skank that Hank slept with in season one. Problem? She was only sixteen. She was also the daughter of Hank's ex-wife's soon-to-be husband. She spent most of season one extorting stories out of Hank and passing them off as her own to her creative writing class in school. She also takes credit for a novel that Hank wrote. Season two saw Mia a year older and her book becoming a hit. Of course, nobody knows it's Hank's book. And season three sees her finally legal and in the midst of the paperback release of her book. It also sees her dealing with the fact that she can't write worth a shit, as the publisher had wanted her to write more scenes for Fucking And Punching (the novel), only for her manager/boyfriend to discover that the pages she'd written were meandering and absolutely horrible. And that was when the secret came out, to the manager/boyfriend at least. His reaction was to approach Hank at the afterparty for the release, tell him he knows the truth, and suggest that Hank come clear about the affair and all.

Mia comes to KSU not long after the disastrous end of that party, hoping to finish her freshman year of college and finally have a normal goddamn life.
